A police inspector and a constable from Maharashtra's Udgir were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for accepting a bribe of Rs 45,000.
The duo faced allegations of demanding Rs 3 lakh to avoid taking action against a complainant's relative. They were caught in a sting operation at a hotel.
A local court has remanded them in custody till April 5, as charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act are processed.
