Hezbollah's Ceasefire Countdown

Senior Hezbollah lawmaker Hassan Fadlallah announced a possible short-term ceasefire after consulting with Iran's ambassador to Beirut. This announcement came shortly before U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the ceasefire start time. Fadlallah emphasized that Hezbollah's compliance depends on Israel halting all hostilities.

Senior Hezbollah lawmaker Hassan Fadlallah revealed that the group had been informed about a potential short-term ceasefire, expected to begin Thursday night, by Iran's ambassador in Beirut.

This statement came just minutes before U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the ceasefire would commence at 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time (2100 GMT).

When questioned on Hezbollah's participation in the truce, Fadlallah clarified that their commitment depends on Israel stopping all forms of hostilities.
