Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha stressed the importance of border village development for national security during an event in Vibrant Village Sariah, Rajouri on Friday. In his address, he emphasized the critical role these communities play in safeguarding India's borders and enhancing national identity.
Sinha inaugurated several development projects, including water conservation works and new playgrounds across multiple villages. He praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting the significant progress in border regions under the Vibrant Villages Programme.
Highlighting the commitment to transforming these areas, he urged for the full implementation of infrastructure and welfare schemes to secure prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir's border villages. The Lieutenant Governor also inspected an exhibition showcasing local accomplishments.
