Ukraine expects U.S. envoys to visit Kyiv at the turn of spring and summer, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Friday, following what he described as substantive talks between the countries. Ukraine's top peace negotiator Rustem Umerov arrived in Miami on Thursday for negotiations with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Zelenskiy said on X that Kyiv and Washington were coordinating schedules for the visit: "We hope this time we will be able to realise what has been planned and reinvigorate diplomacy."
