A mysterious incident on a bridge over Uttar Pradesh's Saryu river set off a widespread search operation after a suicide note, slippers, and an Aadhaar card were discovered. Initially believed to signal a young man's plunge into the river, the unfolding drama soon took an unexpected turn.
Villagers walking in Deoria district stumbled upon the items, raising alarms and involving local authorities. The Aadhaar card identified the young man as 22-year-old Ayodhya Rajbhar. Fearing the worst, police initiated an intensive search effort, while anxious family members gathered in anticipation.
The tension subsided when news broke that Rajbhar had safely returned home. Rajbhar revealed that he left his belongings on the bridge impulsively amid family tensions, later regretting his actions. Police are continuing their inquiry, having already recorded the young man's statement.
