The UAE's foreign ministry has denied claims from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office regarding a secret meeting with UAE president Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed during the war with Iran. The alleged meeting aimed to strengthen UAE-Israel relations, pivotal to regional influence and defense strategy.

The United Arab Emirates' foreign ministry refuted a claim made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office about a secret meeting with the UAE president. Netanyahu's office asserted he visited the UAE amid the war with Iran, meeting Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed in Al-Ain on March 26.

Netanyahu's office deemed the meeting an 'historic breakthrough,' yet the UAE maintains that its relations with Israel are public and transparent. A source indicated that Mossad Chief Dedi Barnea visited the UAE twice during the Iran conflict for military purposes, as initially reported by the Wall Street Journal.

In the context of the war, the UAE received Iron Dome systems from Israel to enhance its defenses. Being a strategic ally to the U.S. and a hub in the Middle East, the UAE has pursued an active foreign policy, yet faces risks to its economic stability due to the ongoing conflict.
