Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has halved the number of vehicles in his convoy, opting to forgo any government vehicle one day each week. Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana prefers using a security vehicle solely for field visits, while others like Krishan Kumar Bedi have enthusiastically taken to bicycles for short commutes.

Transport Minister Anil Vij announced plans for the procurement of 1,000 new buses, including 500 electric models. The initiative also includes potential tax concessions for EV buyers. Modi's personal decision to reduce his convoy size has inspired BJP leaders across the nation to adopt similar conservation efforts.
