The inaugural multilateral military exercise 'PRAGATI' has successfully concluded after a comprehensive 72-hour drill aimed at enhancing cooperation and coordination among participating countries. The exercise, focused on counter-terrorism in semi-mountainous and jungle terrain, highlighted the shared security challenges faced by regional partners.

Held at Umroi Military Station in Meghalaya, the event began on May 20 and brought together over 400 troops from multiple countries, including Bhutan, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Led by Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, the exercise fostered bilateral meetings to strengthen defense ties, and underscored India's commitment to indigenous defense development through collaborative industry engagement.

The concluding drills tested the participants' abilities in a variety of scenarios, solidifying their operational synergy.
