Fifteen enthusiastic volunteers from Rajasthan are poised to join the Centre's ambitious Viksit Bharat Vibrant Village Programme. This initiative is designed to engage youths in transformative activities within the border villages of Himachal Pradesh, focusing on nation-building objectives.

The programme, a collaborative effort of the Union Ministries of Youth Affairs and Sports and Home Affairs, has selected 100 participants nationwide through a quiz on the 'My Bharat' portal. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma believes this engagement will imbue the participants with patriotism, leadership skills, and a sense of social responsibility, as they interact with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police and local communities.

This initiative not only allows the volunteers to understand the challenges faced by those in remote areas but also enables them to share Rajasthan's rich cultural heritage. A preliminary orientation in Reckong Peo will prepare them for the field. Sharma is optimistic that their experiences will invigorate social awareness and youth participation back home.
