BJP's Jual Oram and Pratap Sarangi Lead in Crucial Odisha Constituencies
Jual Oram, former Union Minister and BJP MP, is leading the Odisha polls with a significant margin. He is ahead of former Indian Hockey captain Dilip Tirkey of BJD. BJP's Pratap Sarangi is also leading in the Balasore constituency, beating his nearest rival Lekhasree Samantsinghar of BJD. Congress candidates struggle in both seats.

In the ongoing Odisha elections, BJP's former Union Minister and sitting MP, Jual Oram, is ahead by a substantial 77,749 votes against his closest rival, former Indian Hockey captain Dilip Tirkey from BJD, as per the Election Commission of India (ECI).
Oram secured 2,69,571 votes while Tirkey managed to amass 1,91,822 votes by 1.28 PM. Meanwhile, the Congress candidate, Janadran Dehury, is lagging with only 1,46,533 votes.
In another keenly watched race, BJP's Balasore MP, Pratap Sarangi, is leading by 19,971 votes over BJD's Lekhasree Samantsinghar, according to ECI figures. Sarangi has garnered 1,31,657 votes, while Samantsinghar has obtained 1,11,686 votes. Congress's Srikant Jena is trailing in third place with just 54,314 votes by 1.40 PM.
