The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is currently leading in all four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh, according to data from the Election Commission.

In Mandi, BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut holds a lead of 71,857 votes over her Congress rival Vikramaditya Singh. Union Minister Anurag Thakur, contesting for a fifth term from the Hamirpur seat, is ahead by 1,77,708 votes against Congress' Satpal Raizada.

Sitting party MP from Shimla, Suresh Kashyap, maintains a lead of 90,548 votes, while BJP Kangra nominee Rajiv Bhardwaj is ahead by 2,47,343 votes with his Congress rival Anand Sharma conceding defeat.

Sharma, a former Union minister, expressed gratitude towards his party and the residents of Kangra and Chamba, stating, “I accept my defeat humbly and congratulate Rajiv Bhardwaj for his success.”

Meanwhile, Thakur voiced optimism about the BJP-led NDA forming the central government once more. Suresh Kashyap remarked that the results were in line with exit polls and indicated a clear decision to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for a third term.

State BJP chief Rajiv Bindal echoed this sentiment, suggesting the mandate was a major defeat for Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, whose government has allegedly failed to deliver in its 18-month tenure.
