BJP Leads in Eight Jharkhand Lok Sabha Seats as Counting Continues
The BJP is leading in eight Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand, with its ally AJSU Party leading in one. Congress is ahead in two seats and JMM in three. Key races include Union Minister Arjun Munda trailing, while former DGP VD Ram leads by a significant margin.

The BJP appears to be making significant gains in Jharkhand, leading in eight Lok Sabha seats, according to officials. The party's ally AJSU Party is ahead in one seat, while the Congress and JMM lead in two and three seats respectively.
Union Minister and incumbent MP Arjun Munda is trailing Congress's Kalicharan Munda in the Khunti Lok Sabha seat by around 1.20 lakh votes, according to the Election Commission. Meanwhile, JMM's Joba Manjhi is leading by 89,829 votes over her nearest rival, Geeta Kora of the BJP, in Singhbhum.
Former DGP and sitting BJP MP VD Ram is leading by a substantial 2.26 lakh votes over his nearest rival Mamta Bhuiyan of the RJD in Palamu. In a tight contest in Dumka, BJP's Sita Soren, initially ahead of JMM's Nalin Soren, is now trailing by 7,893 votes.
