Supriya Sule Emphasizes Hope and Strategy in Post-Election Scenario

NCP leader Supriya Sule on Thursday emphasized the INDIA bloc's 'wait and watch' strategy as the BJP gets ready to form the next government. Speaking after her fourth consecutive win in Baramati, she described the opposition alliance’s seat tally as 'encouraging' and remains hopeful for possible political developments.

During her first post-victory visit to the city, Sule mentioned that despite not having the majority 'magic figure,' the alliance, which met in Delhi on Wednesday, decided on a cautious approach. She stressed that while the President has invited BJP to form the government, the INDIA bloc remains prepared.

Sule, who defeated Sunetra Pawar by over 1.5 lakh votes, attributed her success to the voters rejecting issues like inflation and central agency repression. She praised her party workers and the constituents of Maha Vikas Aghadi and vowed to address pressing challenges such as drought, water scarcity, and unemployment in Maharashtra.
