BJP Leader Aditya Madhi Passes Away at 50

Senior BJP leader and former MLA Aditya Madhi passed away at a hospital on Wednesday at the age of 50. Madhi was a notable leader from Malkangiri, elected in 2019. He had recovered from COVID-19 but was suffering from other health issues. Leaders paid tribute to him.

The news has garnered condolences from political leaders, including Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Majhi, Speaker Surama Padhy, and several ministers paid their last respects at the assembly premises.

Chief Minister Majhi noted that while Madhi had recovered from a COVID-19 infection, he continued to battle other health complications. Madhi was deeply respected for his notable contributions to the BJP, particularly in the Malkangiri region.
