Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami credited the BJP's clean sweep in all five Lok Sabha seats of Uttarakhand to the relentless efforts of party members and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's successful public welfare programs. This was Dhami's first address to the BJP's state executive committee following the election results.
Dhami highlighted that the BJP's consecutive victories are a testament to the party's steadfast principles, citing the abrogation of Article 370, the triple talaq ban, and the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. He also noted the historic passage of the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand, making it the first state to implement such a measure.
The Chief Minister praised Modi for enhancing India's global standing, pointing out that his leadership has made the world attentive to India's perspectives on international issues. He also acknowledged Modi's vital role in securing the release of former Indian naval officers on death row in Qatar, including one from Dehradun.
