Congress MPs Protest Haryana's Neglect in Union Budget

Congress MPs from Haryana protested the Union Budget in Parliament, alleging neglect towards the state. Several Congress MPs from Haryana staged a protest in the Parliament complex on Friday, voicing their discontent over the government's alleged neglect of the state in the Union Budget. They asserted that this oversight would cost the BJP dearly in the upcoming assembly elections.

Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda lambasted the Budget for making no provisions for Haryana. Hooda also disclosed that Union Minister Lalan Singh had criticized them for raising the issue, advising them instead to concentrate on national concerns over state-specific issues.

'Is Haryana not part of the country?' Hooda questioned, accusing the government of objecting to their demands for the state. He forewarned that voters would disregard the BJP in the same way the Budget has disregarded Haryana. The assembly polls in the BJP-ruled state are anticipated to take place in October.
