Republican Strategists Urge Trump to Focus on Policy Amid Personal Attacks on Harris

As Democrats launch their convention, Donald Trump's campaign faces challenges with his focus on personal attacks against Kamala Harris. Advisors urge Trump to concentrate on policy issues to win swing voters. His upcoming campaign events tackle key topics like economy, crime, and national security.

As Democrats kick off their convention in Chicago, Donald Trump's campaign is facing challenges in adjusting to Vice President Kamala Harris at the top of the opposing ticket.

Trump aims to counteract the Democratic celebration with a packed schedule, filled with daily events in battleground states addressing topics where Republicans believe they have an advantage. It's his busiest campaign week since he faced challengers in the Republican primary.

However, Trump's policy speeches often devolve into his usual, rambling rally remarks, overshadowed by personal outbursts and attacks. Allies are alarmed, urging him to focus on policy to broaden his appeal to swing voters.
