Honduras President Xiomara Castro has accused the United States of interfering in Honduran politics.
On Wednesday, President Castro declared she had ordered her foreign minister to renounce an extradition treaty with the U.S., criticizing what she termed as intolerable American interventionism.
Castro further stated that the U.S. was attempting to direct the internal politics of Honduras through its embassy and other representatives, a move she described as unacceptable.
