In a show of confidence, Haryana Minister and BJP candidate from Ambala City Assembly seat, Aseem Goel, predicted a victory for the BJP in the forthcoming state assembly elections. Speaking to ANI, Goel underscored the party's dedication to development, promising a 'nayab' state under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's leadership. 'The BJP has entrusted every worker in Ambala City Vidhan Sabha, reaffirming our commitment to development,' Goel said. He also expressed gratitude to the party for their continued trust in his leadership.

Goel was adamant that the BJP would secure a majority for the third consecutive term in both Haryana and Ambala City, casting the Congress as an obstacle to progress. 'The Congress has always been anti-development. They fear that development will end their agendas,' he added.

In the BJP's newly released candidate list, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is set to contest from the Ladwa constituency, while former state home minister Anil Vij will contest from Ambala Cantt. Other candidates include Gian Chand Gupta (Panchkula), Kanwar Pal Gurjar (Jagadhri), Sunita Duggal (Ratia), Bhavya Bishnoi (Adampur), and Tejpal Tanwar (Sohna). Notable party figures, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda, recently convened to finalize the candidate selections. Voting for Haryana's 90-member legislative assembly is scheduled for October 5, with the results to be announced on October 8.
