Amit Shah Slams Congress and NC Manifesto, Vows BJP Commitment to J&K Development

Union Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Congress and National Conference’s manifesto on Saturday. Shah accused the opposition parties of wanting to revert to old systems and negotiate with Pakistan, but warned, “There will be no talks with Pakistan till there is peace.”

Criticizing their agenda, Shah said the opposition aims to spread terrorism, revoke reservations for Gujjars, Bakarwal, Paharis, and Dalits, release criminals, and initiate LoC trade with Pakistan. He challenged Rahul Gandhi, stating BJP will protect the rights of these communities and resist any attempts to re-establish Article 370 or dual flags in Jammu and Kashmir.

He highlighted BJP’s reduction of terrorism by 70% and credited Prime Minister Modi for the fearless conduct of Amarnath Yatra after many years. Contrasting with Congress and NC, Shah asserted that only the Central government could restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, urging voters to choose BJP for continued peace and development. Shah launched the BJP’s manifesto, emphasizing pledges to women, youth, Kashmiri Pandits, and the eradication of terrorism, with elections set for three phases beginning September 18.
