Union Minister Chirag Paswan sharply criticized Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday for his 'vulture' remark, asserting that the electorate will deliver a strong message in the impending assembly elections.
Soren's comment, which likened leaders from other states to 'hovering vultures,' was aimed at the BJP's ongoing 'Parivartan Yatras' in Jharkhand. Responding robustly, Paswan, who also presides over the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), stated that the people will decisively address such language. He made these remarks during public rallies in Latehar and Palamu districts as part of efforts to bolster his party's influence ahead of the elections. Paswan indicated that the decision on whether the party will contest alone or in coalition will be made by the state unit.
In a separate issue, Paswan voiced his concerns about the alleged use of animal fat in Tirupati laddus, labeling it as 'worrying and condemnable,' and promised stringent actions against those involved. Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's global leadership, Paswan asserted, 'Now the world listens to what India says.' He also criticized the alleged corruption in Soren's administration, stating that the progress of Jharkhand hinges on the youth and moving beyond religious, caste, and creedal divisions.
