In a fiery speech at an election rally in Haryana's Badhra, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge targeted the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that Modi is an expert in telling lies and has failed to fulfill promises made to voters. Kharge accused the BJP of not understanding the pain of farmers and criticized the Agnipath military recruitment scheme.
Kharge also highlighted the Congress party's manifesto, which includes promises such as Rs 2,000 monthly for women, and emphasized Congress' history of keeping promises. He criticized the BJP for allegedly copying their manifesto, offering Rs 2,100 to women, calling it an 'auction for votes'.
Addressing the treatment of women wrestlers under the BJP regime, Kharge slammed Modi's inauguration of the new parliament building amidst these issues. He urged voters to reject the BJP, recalling significant achievements and debt waivers during past Congress administrations.
