The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief, J P Nadda, voiced jubilation on Tuesday over the party's triumph in the Haryana assembly elections. He attributed this success to the electorate's dismissal of the Congress party's casteism and nepotism rhetoric, favoring instead the BJP's development-focused model championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During an address at the BJP headquarters, Nadda also praised the party's performance in Jammu and Kashmir's assembly polls. There, he noted, the BJP increased its vote share as the Union territory's residents showed faith in Modi's leadership, rebutting Congress's alleged falsehoods.
Nadda announced that the electoral victory in Haryana and the expanded support in Jammu and Kashmir serve as evidence of public confidence in Modi. He rallied party members to maintain solidarity to ensure victory in the forthcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Delhi.
