BJP Announces Candidates for Crucial Assam Bypolls
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has congratulated BJP candidates Nihar Ranjan Das, Diganta Ghatowar, and Diplu Ranjan Sarma, who will contest the upcoming bypolls for the assembly constituencies of Dholai (SC), Behali, and Samaguri. The by-elections are scheduled for November 13, following recent Lok Sabha elections.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma extended his congratulations to BJP candidates Nihar Ranjan Das, Diganta Ghatowar, and Diplu Ranjan Sarma, chosen to contest the forthcoming bypolls.
The candidates will represent the Dholai (SC), Behali, and Samaguri assembly constituencies on November 13. The BJP will contest three seats, with alliance partner AGP contesting Bongaigaon and UPPL at Sidli (ST).
The bypolls were prompted by the election of sitting MLAs to the Lok Sabha. An electorate of 9,10,665 will vote in these elections, marking a significant political event in Assam.
