Former AAP Councillor Joins BJP, Shifts Political Allegiance

Ram Narayan Bhardwaj, a former Aam Aadmi Party councillor, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. The event took place at the BJP's Delhi office, where Bhardwaj was welcomed by Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and MP Yogender Chandolia with a traditional 'patka' and sweets.

In a notable political shift, former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor Ram Narayan Bhardwaj was formally inducted into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday. The event happened at the BJP's Delhi unit office.

The Delhi BJP president, Virendra Sachdeva, along with North West Delhi Member of Parliament Yogender Chandolia, extended a warm welcome to Bhardwaj. The brief ceremony included the presentation of a 'patka' and sweets to the new party member.

Bhardwaj had served as a councillor for AAP in the North Delhi Municipal Corporation's Bakaner ward from 2017 to 2022, Sachdeva noted in his social media announcement.
