The U.S. State Department has declared that it does not currently find Israel in violation of American law. This comes after Israel implemented some adjustments in response to a letter from Washington the previous month. The letter aimed to mitigate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Despite these actions, the United States is advocating for further changes from the Israeli government. State Department deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel highlighted this stance during a regular news briefing on Tuesday.
Washington remains committed to evaluating Israel's ongoing compliance with American legal standards, hinting at continued diplomatic diligence in this complex geopolitical issue.
