Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has criticized the Left's ''double standards'' in how they perceive global conservatives. She stated that when leaders like herself, US President Donald Trump, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi collaborate, they're labeled threats to democracy, while leftist leaders receive praise for similar actions.
Presenting via video link at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, Meloni lauded Trump, claiming the Left is apprehensive about his potential victories. She emphasized that conservatives are teaming up globally in a manner reminiscent of Bill Clinton and Tony Blair's global leftist network in the 90s.
Meloni assured that despite tensions, the US-Europe relationship is strong under Trump’s leadership. She expressed confidence that adversaries hoping for a rift would be proven wrong, asserting Trump's reliable character as a leader.
