Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has proactively reviewed the state's situation following the escalating military conflict between India and Pakistan. He gathered feedback from officers in border districts to ensure comprehensive preparedness and responsive measures.

In light of the escalating tensions, the government has enforced strict measures in Jaisalmer, including the collection of drones by authorities and a ban on fireworks. Additionally, markets are to close by 5 PM, followed by a 12-hour blackout starting at 6 PM.

The state government has also made strategic personnel changes, transferring nine sub-divisional officers to optimize leadership in critical border areas. The move is aimed at enhancing administrative oversight amid ongoing security concerns.
