In a regional BJP meeting in Wardha, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis lauded the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voters' rolls in Bihar, describing it as a crucial step towards ensuring accurate electoral lists.

Fadnavis, reflecting on his 2012 High Court plea, expressed satisfaction with the long-demanded SIR initiative. He dismissed the prospect of a political reunion between Uddhav and Raj Thackeray, emphasizing that Mumbai's mayor would emerge from the Mahayuti alliance, which includes BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP.

Reacting to the Supreme Court's decision to proceed with draft electoral rolls in Bihar, Fadnavis reiterated the need for updated voter data. He also supported RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's remarks about maintaining the 'Bharat' nomenclature, stressing its importance for national identity.
