Addressing the press, JKPCC President Tariq Karra criticized the alleged preferential treatment shown to BJP leaders while neglecting Congress representatives. He insisted on raising the matter with both the central and J&K governments, demanding accountability from the officials involved.

Karra highlighted the unprecedented nature of the oversight, emphasizing Hussain's stature as an MP and AICC general secretary. The Congress leader condemned the alleged bias and called for corrective measures against the officials responsible.
