Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala has launched a scathing attack on the BJP, accusing the party of orchestrating a 'designed conspiracy' to steal votes across various constituencies, including Mahadevapura and Aland. He described this alleged 'Vote Chori' as an assault on democracy and the Indian Constitution.

Asserting the gravity of the issue, Surjewala highlighted the Congress party's nationwide signature campaign in protest. He claimed that these actions threaten the principle of one person, one vote, a fundamental right championed by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and other freedom fighters.

Addressing internal matters, Surjewala dismissed reports of dissent within the Congress following controversial power-sharing remarks. He emphasized that Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar is tasked with maintaining party discipline and focus on governance and key guarantees in Karnataka.
