YSRCP Rallies Against Medical College Privatisation

A follow-up district rally is scheduled for November 12, rallying leaders, party members, and students for support.

In a public release, YSRCP has demanded the withdrawal of the privatization plan and emphasized the need to protect accessible medical education and healthcare services. The party further plans to submit petitions and signatures against the move, urging intervention from the Governor via the former chief minister and senior leaders.

Criticizing the NDA government, YSRCP accuses it of 'auctioning' public health institutions to private entities, undermining the achievements of its chief, who previously initiated the establishment of 17 medical colleges. The party is calling for the safeguarding of public assets against exploitation by private players disguised under the PPP model.
