Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the RJD-Congress alliance in Bihar, referring to it as a 'lathbandhan', a coalition filled with criminals. His remarks came as Tejashwi Yadav was declared the Grand Alliance's chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Bihar elections.
Modi called upon BJP supporters to ensure the youth are informed about the 'jungle raj', referencing the misrule in Bihar under RJD's Lalu Prasad. The Prime Minister highlighted the NDA's developmental strides under a stable government, including improvements in healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
Addressing workers ahead of Bihar's crucial polls on November 6 and 11, Modi insisted it was a moment for the state to write a new chapter in its history. He underlined the necessity for women's empowerment and the eradication of Naxalism, urging energetic campaigning from NDA workers.
