On Monday, Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao accused the Congress-led government of inadequately maintaining law and order in the state.
Highlighting incidents such as the fatal stabbing of a constable and firing on a 'gau rakshak', he suggested that 'gun culture' is escalating in Telangana, posing a threat not just to civilians but also to police officers.
Prior to the Jubilee Hills assembly bypoll, Rao released a mock poll manifesto predicting a proliferation of criminal activities under Congress' governance, emphasizing BJP's rivalry with AIMIM in the upcoming election.
