The Election Commission has introduced a voter helpline in West Bengal aiming to ensure transparency in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Officials say the initiative is designed to clarify doubts and address citizens' concerns.

Citizens can access the helpline 1950 and other local services to submit queries about the electoral rolls. The National Contact Centre, available daily from 8 am to 8 pm, serves as a central helpline for voters across all states and Union Territories.

The Election Commission has emphasized the importance of using available help channels, including contacting Booth Level Officers through the ECINET platform and utilizing the National Grievance Service portal to submit complaints.
