The BJP has launched accusations against AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, claiming he is benefiting from an opulent 'sheesh mahal' with seven-star facilities in Punjab. Former Delhi chief minister Kejriwal allegedly enjoys these luxuries despite not being an elected MLA or holding a position in the state government.
Shehzad Poonawalla, BJP's national spokesperson, further alleged that AAP leaders who lost elections in Delhi are being accommodated in various Punjab boards and commissions. In a video message, Poonawalla demanded accountability from Kejriwal and his party.
While the Punjab government and AAP have yet to respond, Poonawalla criticizes the ruling party for not fulfilling promises to the people, allegedly prioritizing Kejriwal's security and comfort over public commitments. This includes a grand mansion and extensive security, which BJP contends come at the taxpayers' expense.
