In a fervent address during the 'Jan Akrosh Yatra' in Gujarat, Congress leader Pawan Khera called for a political shift by highlighting the grievances plaguing both Hindus and Muslims under BJP rule. Khera argued that under the current government, challenges like unemployment, inflation, and illicit drug trade have intensified, affecting communities indiscriminately.

Khera did not hold back, alleging a deliberate conspiracy by the ruling party to detract attention from significant issues through diversionary tactics. He pointed out the rampant issues of drug and alcohol trade in Gujarat, where prohibition is in place, as tools to distract the public from core issues like youth unemployment and farmers' distress.

The rally, part of Congress's broader campaign to address grievances stemming from economic hardships and governance failures, saw other party leaders, such as Jignesh Mevani, amplify this call for change. Mevani underlined the dire situation of farmers and challenged government officials to debate on these pressing issues.
