In the aftermath of a significant electoral defeat, Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram announced plans to rebuild the party's structure at the district level. During a recent briefing, Ram clarified that the alliance with RJD remains strictly electoral, while organizational efforts will focus on local enhancements.
Listing reasons for the INDIA bloc's defeat, he accused the Election Commission and government of influencing the outcome through financial schemes like the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana, which distributed cash before the elections. Nevertheless, party leaders remain committed to addressing organizational gaps and restructuring at the micro level.
Ram dismissed claims by RJD leaders that Congress alone was to blame for the poor performance, asserting that the whole alliance suffered collectively. Despite electoral setbacks, the party aims to assemble strong grassroots support, marking its presence at upcoming anti-SIR rallies spearheaded by senior leaders in Delhi.
