On Wednesday, a significant upheaval took place in the Lok Sabha as opposition Members of Parliament staged a walkout during Union Home Minister Amit Shah's address on electoral reforms.

In his speech, Shah critiqued former Prime Ministers Nehru, Indira, and Rajiv Gandhi, while issuing sharp remarks on what he termed as the opposition's leniency towards infiltrators. He reiterated the government's hardline stance with the policy of 'detect, delete, and deport'.

The proceedings saw a fiery exchange between Shah and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, particularly concerning 'vote chori' allegations. Despite the tumult, Shah maintained that the Parliament would not function under individual whims.
