Rahul Gandhi has stirred controversy after his remarks were compared to 'radicalised Islamists' by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday. The comments were made during a recent event where Gandhi suggested changing the political discourse focus.
Amit Malviya, head of the BJP IT department, criticized Gandhi in a post on platform X, accompanied by a video of the Congress leader speaking. Malviya asserted that Gandhi's language mimicked the rhetoric often used by radicals to demean Hindu beliefs.
In the video, Gandhi advocated for political dialogues to prioritize issues like data and innovation, indicating these as critical for the nation's future. He suggested moving the discussion away from trivial debates about diet and wellness practices like the use of cow urine.
