Congress's Kharge Slams BJP for 'Vote Chori' and Threat to Constitution

During a rally, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the BJP for alleged electoral misconduct and warned against the BJP-RSS ideology. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge launched a fierce critique of the BJP, accusing them of 'vote chori' and undermining the Constitution. Speaking at the 'Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod' rally, he warned that the ideologies of Mohan Bhagwat, M S Golwalkar, and Manusmriti threaten the nation and emphasized Congress's role as a savior of democratic values.

Accusing BJP-RSS of attempting to subvert the Constitution under the guise of Hindutva, Kharge said, "Congress achieved Independence, not Modi-Shah". He accused the BJP of trying to revise historical narratives and voiced his determination not to let BJP sow division between Nehru, Gandhi, and Ambedkar's legacies.

Pointing out discrepancies in BJP leaders' actions, Kharge said PM Modi evades accountability by traveling abroad during Parliament sessions, while Congress remains vigilant against BJP's deception and vote manipulation. Kharge highlighted the Congress's success in local elections and called upon citizens to reinforce their resolve in upholding democracy.
