The BJP is gearing up for a massive public meeting in Ballari city on January 17, orchestrated by Gangavathi MLA G Janardhana Reddy. This rally is to protest what Reddy alleges was an attempt on his life during violence earlier this month.
Addressing the press, Reddy confirmed the venue for the meeting had been shifted to the APMC Market due to exam schedules. He anticipates attendance will exceed 50,000, though only 30,000 can be accommodated.
In the wake of violence on January 1, sparked by a Congress banner, Reddy accuses a conspiracy against him. The BJP will stage the protest in phases, with senior leaders present. Future actions, including a delegation to Delhi, were also announced.
