President Donald Trump's journey to the World Economic Forum in Davos faced a brief setback when Air Force One, the presidential aircraft, returned to Joint Base Andrews shortly after takeoff.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that the decision was made as a precautionary measure after the crew identified a minor electrical issue onboard the plane.
Upon landing, Trump is expected to transfer to another aircraft to continue his trip to Switzerland as planned.
