In a heated political development, Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao accused the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress of engaging in a 'drama' over alleged phone tapping incidents in the state. Rao claims the two parties are misleading the public under the guise of an investigation.

Speaking to ANI, Rao alleged that the BRS had tapped several BJP leaders' phones and filed cases against them. He asserted that the misuse of phone tapping was intended to gain an electoral advantage, highlighting that the Supreme Court has strict guidelines against such privacy invasions.

Rao further criticized the slow pace of the investigation into the phone tapping allegations, questioning why key figures like KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao haven't been implicated. He suggested a quid pro quo between the Congress and BRS, citing leniency towards Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in a past case.
