Tarique Rahman has been inaugurated as Bangladesh's prime minister in a ceremony attended by top officials from both Bangladesh and India. His rise marks the end of an interim government period led by Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus and ushers in a new chapter for the nation.
The ceremony, held at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad, marked a departure from tradition, with President Mohammed Shahabuddin administering the oath.
