Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing critique of the DMK's governance in Tamil Nadu, alleging the administration prioritizes the interests of a single family over the welfare of the people. Addressing a large opposition rally, Modi claimed that the people are ready for a change.
Modi asserted that the DMK, after assuming power in 2021, failed to fulfill its mandate and has engaged in what he termed as 'scientific corruption.' He charged the ruling party with channeling corrupt funds towards one family, further undermining its governance credibility.
He evoked the notion that all rivers eventually lead to the sea, drawing a parallel by suggesting that all corrupt money in Tamil Nadu finds its way to the DMK's family coffers. Modi suggested that the National Democratic Alliance offers an alternative for Tamil Nadu's future.
