This timeline follows the nomination filing process's conclusion. Union ministers and several state party leaders are set to join the campaign trail.

Scheduled to run until April 7, the campaign is an all-hands-on-deck effort to rally support for the elections on April 9, with vote counting slated for May 4. The BJP released its initial list of 88 candidates on Thursday, further laying the groundwork for their electoral strategy.

Sarma expressed confidence in winning substantial public support and conveyed gratitude to BJP state president Dilip Saikia for facilitating his candidacy in the Jalukbari constituency.
