On Friday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis leveled accusations against the TMC for allegedly conspiring to include the names of infiltrators in the West Bengal electoral rolls. This alleged action is seen as a threat to national security, according to Fadnavis.
The Maharashtra leader criticized the TMC's objection to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), which was not halted by the Supreme Court despite the allegations. Fadnavis noted that individuals whose names were removed from the rolls for legitimate reasons did not protest.
Addressing various issues surrounding governance in West Bengal, Fadnavis also refuted claims regarding the mistreatment of Bengali-speaking migrants in BJP-administered regions. He insisted that cities like Pune and Mumbai have vibrant Bengali communities and assured that the BJP would address the concerns over foreign investment under its governance.
