In a tragic incident near Kannauj on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway, Congress leader Vakil Singh Kushwaha of Bhagalpur, Bihar, died in a road accident, police confirmed.

The car, reportedly driven by a dozing chauffeur, hit a roadside pillar with severe impact around 12:30 pm, critically injuring Kushwaha and three travelers.
