AINRC Triumph: Continuance of Rangasamy's Leadership in Puducherry
The AINRC-led NDA secured a victory in the Puducherry Assembly elections, winning 11 seats under the leadership of N Rangasamy. The coalition partner BJP secured four seats, AIADMK and LJK one each. Rangasamy won both contested seats, with opposition DMK taking five seats and Congress one.

The AINRC-led alliance has claimed victory in the Puducherry Assembly elections held on April 9, paving the way for another term. Chief Minister N Rangasamy successfully contested two seats, Thattanchavady and Mangalam, helping his party capture a total of 11 seats while leading in one, as per the Election Commission.
In this electoral battle, the NDA saw its coalition partner, BJP, claiming four seats, while AIADMK and LJK each secured one seat. Among the notable winners was BJP senior leader A Namassivayam. The victory for NDA coincided with actor Vijay's TVK winning in neighboring Tamil Nadu and claiming two seats in the UT.
Located about 160 km from Chennai, Puducherry witnessed strong opposition from DMK, which secured five seats, and Congress with one. Rangasamy triumphed over opponents in both his winning constituencies, with significant margins, continuing his successful political streak.
